Join us on a ride through the flatlands and rolling hills of
the scenic Snohomish River Valley to help Secure a Cure for
Glioblastoma Brain Cancer.
The Annual Teresa LeDoux-Peterson Bike Ride is scheduled for
Sunday, August 10 at 9:00 am and starts from Red Hook Brewery
in Woodinville. Teresa died in April 2007 after a two-year
battle with glioblastoma. Brain cancer is a highly aggressive
and incurable disease, often striking without warning and,
with its short survival rate; it makes it difficult to conduct
research and long-term clinical trials. |

Why we ride |
-
Because brain cancer is a highly aggressive and incurable
disease, often striking without warning.
-
Because in 2008 more than 20,000 new cases of glioblastoma
will be diagnosed
-
Because of an extremely short survival rate, it is difficult
to conduct research and long-term clinical trials
-
Glioblastoma remains highly resistant to existing
treatments
-
Your support enables continued innovative and scientific
research efforts to help secure a cure
-
To honor Teresa and others diagnosed with glioblastoma.
|
|
|
|
|
It takes more than courage to
beat cancer.
Please, help us
make a difference for everyone effected by this disease. Help us, Secure a Cure! |
