Seattle is the biking capital of the U.S., and this event is sure to be a big one, so bike enthusiasts, get ready to ride and raise awareness for brain cancer.
Join CEF as we Bike for Brain Cancer on August 22, 2010.
This is an for annual event for CEF as we bike from scenic Beaver Lake and traverse through a selection of routes based on your skill level.
First Route Level:
Family-friendly for beginners or kids and family that want a short ride with no hills
Second Route Level:
Nicknamed the "Road Warrior", this is a 22 mile bike ride beginning at Beaver Lake and traversing 22 miles through scenic roads and mild hills.
Third Route Level: Only for the "ultimate warrior", this is a 70 mile bike ride that has it all including challenging hills, winding roads, an overall ultimate warrior challenge that leaves you feeling invigorated as you traverse through 70 miles of scenic roads from start to finish. Rest stops, including water stations and high energy foods will be located along the way to replenish the body.
You will be able to donate online and support your local team captains as they raise money and awareness for brain cancer.
There will be a BBQ at the close of the event, so stick around and celebrate with your favorite friends, families, and sponsors. There will be other major highlights along the way so stay tuned as we continue to update the event as we move closer to the date.
