Seattle Brain Cancer WalkThe 3rd Annual Seattle Brain Cancer Walk is a national fundraising event to raise awareness about brain cancer and fund brain cancer research, treatment and comprehensive care for families, adults, and children in the Pacific Northwest. Founded in 2008, the Walk has become the largest brain cancer fundraising event in the Pacific Northwest — raising more than $370,000 for research, clinical trials and comprehensive care for brain cancer patients in the region. In 2009, more than 1,500 participants and teams, including brain cancer patients and survivors, families and friends, leading physicians and healthcare providers, and corporate sponsors participated in the event. Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure has been invited to become the managing organization for the Walk by the Chris Elliott Fund and by Swedish Medical Center and its Ivy Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Treatment (The Ivy Center) led by Dr. Greg Foltz.
Details: Saturday, June 26th Walk with Team CEF and Jean Smart of “Designing Women” and “24” as we raise money to end brain cancer. This event is going to be a big one and we need everyone’s support. We kick off the event at the Seattle Center and walk to (TBD). Team CEF will be walking in unison, sporting our Team CEF t-shirt, CEF green bands, and plan to represent in a big way. Thank you for helping us End Brain Cancer!
