The
Boston Marathon, if it were only about the
running, it'd be simple. It's about so much more than
that; it's about making a
difference.
Why do people run? I
imagine they run for all sorts of reasons. Why am I
running? I'm running for my friend Scott Patrick and his
fight against glioblastoma brain
cancer. Glioblastoma is a highly
aggressive cancer with very limited treatment options.
The good news is
that the Chris Elliott Fund and the doctors they support at
the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute are
working to change that.
Even better news, you can help me
help them by supporting me as I run the Boston
Marathon.
As I get ready to run, I think
about Scott and his wife and his kids and I think
there has to be more we can do. |
