The Chris Elliott Fund is pleased to announce Tamara DePorter as our new CEF Ambassador. Tamara's appointment comes at a time when research funding is down and important discoveries are being made. As CEF's Ambassador, Tamara's mission is to be an advocate for those diagnosed with brain cancer, help raise awareness about this debilitating disease, and to lobby for increased funds in order to continue to advance scientific research.

When asked why she wanted to become an Ambassador for CEF, Tamara said, "At some point in life the odds are very high that cancer will touch your life. Two years ago, my childhood friend lost her mother to oral cancer and there was nothing I could do; three years ago, I lost my grandmother to spinal cancer and there was nothing I could do; ten years ago, I lost a good friend and colleague to glioblastoma and there was nothing I could do. Now there is."

Executive Director Dellann Elliott on Tamara's Ambassadorship, "I am delighted to welcome Tamara as the Chris Elliott Fund Ambassador.  I know Tamara personally and professionally and she is the perfect person for this role as she is a natural and finds it easy to reach out to people."

We are pleased to have Tamara as our CEF Ambassador. Check back to find out more about Tamara, her Ambassadorship, where and when you can see her, and how you can help secure a cure.
